The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway Has Rolled Out All Its Tracks
the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway has completed the laying of all its tracks as of March 26, 2023. China Power Construction, the company responsible for the project, successfully laid 279.4 kilometers of rail track, which includes 112.8 kilometers of ballasted track and 166.6 kilometers of ballastless track. It is noteworthy that China also exported large quantities of 50-meter steel rails to overseas markets for the first time.
Despite facing challenging conditions during construction, such as high temperatures, heavy rainfall, and narrow spaces, the China Power Construction team strictly adhered to engineering construction technical standards, optimized resource allocation, and strengthened safety management to ensure the accuracy and smoothness of the track laying process. Through their model of “imparting, helping, and leading,” the company also transferred knowledge and technology to Indonesian employees, helping them accumulate valuable experience and become a new force in project construction.
The completion of the Jakarta-Bandung Railway marks a significant milestone in Indonesia’s transportation development and brings greater convenience and benefits to local residents.
