The 2023 Brazil International Railway Equipment Exhibition ended in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As one of the largest railway and rail transit industry exhibitions in South America, the exhibition attracted more than 200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions around the world.

In Brazil, transportation mainly relies on roads and aviation, and the development of railway facilities is relatively slow, so it is urgent to speed up construction. Brazil’s Minister of Transport, Ferrell, said at the exhibition: “Adapting to extreme weather, high standards and sustainable development are the guidelines for the development of Brazil’s infrastructure construction. We welcome companies from all over the world to provide innovative technologies for Brazil’s infrastructure construction.

At the exhibition site, the platform of CRRC Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as “CRRC”) located in the center of the exhibition hall attracted many visitors to stop. Multimedia display screens and picture display boards vividly and detailedly display various types of rail transit products and technical systems such as the new generation of subways, hydrogen fuel cell hybrid locomotives, maglev trains, and internal combustion EMUs.

In the technical forum of the exhibition, CRRC release cutting-edge products such as a new generation of the unmanned subway, a 100% low-floor light rail train with leading technology, and the world’s first hydrogen-powered city-area EMU. At the same time, it introduced the “urban rail cloud platform” “Intelligent vehicle maintenance system” and other integrated “smart train” life cycle management systems. “CRRC is committed to providing customers with intelligent and green integrated rail transit system solutions.” At the forum, Jiang Baiyang, designer of CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicle Co., Ltd., introduced relevant technical features and answered questions from the audience from time to time. “Vehicle-to-vehicle communication technology refers to a signal system in which trains realize autonomous resource management based on operation plans and real-time positions, and carry out active interval protection. It is characterized by the deep integration of signal vehicles and a new system that realizes the transformation of train operation mode from automation to autonomy standard.”

According to the report, since entering the Brazilian market 15 years ago, CRRC has provided 668 rail trains for Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, and other cities. Among them, the products provided for Rio Metro Lind 1 and Line 4 ensured more than 60% of the city’s transportation capacity.

Maev, head of the multinational engineering consulting group Sesta Brazil, said: “Chinese companies have performed well in the field of rail transit in Latin America. We have carried out many cooperations with CRRC in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and other countries. I believe that in the future we will further deepen cooperation and achieve more mutual benefits and win-win results.”

As for rail transit, in which “rail” is the basis for the smooth and safe operation of trains. The rail matched with the train wheels can ensure the smooth and safe operation of the train. The installation of the track should fully consider the geology of the site use environment and its bearing capacity. Glory Rail can provide kind of steel rails that meet the different needs and requirements of customers.
